[19:56:42] <osocoms> That is right. I am using pidgin client and want to try to use this client with lync in the office. :) I would prefer to use it in combination with an open source based xmpp server.

[20:04:08] <osocoms> I have to get the presence status from different sources and have to present it in an application. I have the option to use api's to get the info or to setup a private xmpp server and to try to get the presence to the xxmpp server.

[20:07:35] <pubuntu> I'm not much of an authority on that. But I'm sure the admins will be able to give you the best advice
