[23:10:53] <louiz’> What is it caused by?
[23:11:19] <Kev> The server retransmits the directed presence every X minutes (I think 5). This includes the 'please join me to this room' element.
[23:11:32] <louiz’> ah
[23:11:41] <Kev> So potentially you've got a client that isn't even in the room any more, yet the server is sending "Hey, join me to this room" messages.
[23:11:49] <Kev> And potentially "Hey, I want to leave this room" messages as well.
[23:11:55] <louiz’> aha
[23:11:59] <Kev> And potentially "Hey, change my nick" messages as well.
