[13:54:38] <kingweasel> These days I am mostly working with Python. I also use .Net stuff.
[13:55:20] <mpod> we studied just a teeny bit of python but never had to write any programs in it
[13:55:46] <kingweasel> It's pretty easy, but also powerful.
[13:56:14] <kingweasel> My first real language was a scripting language, Rexx.
[13:56:28] <kingweasel> So Python made sense pretty fast.
[13:57:19] <kingweasel> I usually build my GUIs with VB.Net and program them to run the Python.

[17:35:45] <NavX> I just setup a Ejabberd server.. Logging in, registering, joining and configuring chat rooms etc seem to be fine. The problem I am having is adding contacts to my buddy list. I am using Gaim. Most times when I try to add someone to my list, ntohign happens.. Sometimes a request for authorization goes to the other person, and even if they accept, I do nto see them in my buddy list.. I'm not sure why this is happening, anyone have ideas? The only thing I see in my log is a s2s connection to users.jabber.org
