[10:32:25] <Kev_> I'm not sure that it helps, but in our server implementation, MUC *is* pubsub, so I'm not sure it's necessarily so.

[10:32:51] <Kev_> I haven't run ejabberd in years, so my knowledge is heavily out of date there (and was sketchy to begin with)

[11:20:56] <Kev> That sounds like it'd get complicated quite quickly. If the loadbalancer did compression, I think it'd also need to be the one doing the TLS, and if it's the one doing TLS it also needs to be the one doing the auth, otherwise you break channel bindings, and then it's not really a load balancer, but a part of a server's clustering.

[22:05:43] <Kev_> It's what happens just before that that we've not worked out.
